About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Rosie Liu and I am an incoming second-year physics student at UC San Diego.

Growing up, I rarely received mail. I still remember the excitement of getting my very first envelope addressed to me at age 16. It was such a small thing, but it made me realize just how special it was to have something created just for you.

I started Starsprite Mail Club as a way to create a physical archive of my love for science and art, and share them with you. I have such a fun time curating each piece, and I hope they bring a little bit of wonder to your mailbox too!

My favorite art mediums are currently acrylic paint, oil pastels, and pen, although recently I've been slowly branching out to linocut and oil paint.

In my free time, you can find me snorkeling in the beautiful waters of La Jolla shores, reading a good sci-fi book, or playing Cats and Soup (I think I've logged atleast 10 hours a week playing that game in my first year of university). Every weekend, I also volunteer at a local museum doing aircraft restoration on historic naval aircraft.
